The project encompasses the complete structural and technical renovation of the main building of KBC Zagreb (Zagreb University Hospital Centre) at Kišpatićeva 12, which represents the central functional structure of the Rebro hospital complex.

From a construction perspective, the project includes comprehensive reinforcement of the load-bearing structure, renovation and modernisation of building elements, and replacement of all key technical systems. Rehabilitation and reconstruction of structural elements are being carried out to achieve increased seismic resistance, with detailed assessment of the existing condition and installation of modern materials and technologies. The works also include a complete renovation of interior spaces, encompassing installations, ventilation and air conditioning systems, fire protection systems, and building envelope energy elements.

Particular emphasis has been placed on the organisation of works within an active hospital environment, which requires precise logistics, phased execution, and continuous coordination in order to ensure the uninterrupted operation of healthcare services. Upon completion of the project, the building will meet contemporary construction, technical, and safety standards for critical healthcare infrastructure facilities.
