INVESTOR: State Archive Osijek

LOCATON: Ulica Kamila Firingera 1, Osijek

SERVICE: Construction supervision

The energy renovation project aims at the thorough modernisation and technical upgrading of the existing archive building, thereby improving working conditions, energy efficiency, and the long-term sustainability of the facility. The renovation includes thermal insulation of the façade, insulation of the upper floor ceiling, renewal of the building envelope, refurbishment of the roof structure, and installation of a new heating and ventilation system based on heat pumps and modern energy-efficient technologies. The objective is to reduce energy consumption, improve the interior microclimate, and ensure safe, high-quality, and permanent storage of archival materials in a building of historical significance and protected cultural heritage status.

During construction supervision, it is ensured that all civil and mechanical interventions are carried out in accordance with project and technical standards, with careful monitoring of materials, insulation, heating and ventilation systems, and finishing works. The supervision also oversees the protection of cultural and architectural heritage within the conditions of adaptation and renovation, so that the building retains its historic character while simultaneously becoming energy-efficient and functionally modern.
