The care home for the elderly is conceived as a modern facility intended for the provision of community-based services and the accommodation of permanent residents. The building consists of two volumes interconnected by a linking corridor, thereby achieving a functional division of spaces according to their intended use. The northern part of the building has a rectangular floor plan and is intended for external users — the provision of a variety of community services. The southern part of the building has an L-shaped floor plan and is designated for the accommodation of permanent residents. This section comprises double and single rooms with en-suite bathrooms, while a dedicated wing on the uppermost floor is adapted for persons with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. For these residents, spaces for daytime rest, activities, and a communal dining room are provided. On the ground floor of the southern section, administration and healthcare staff areas are located, along with utility facilities including a kitchen with restaurant and a laundry. Vertical circulation throughout the entire building is provided by staircases and lifts, with full accessibility for persons with reduced mobility. Evacuation routes are secured by external staircases at the ends of each wing.
